Vinegar in Prophetic Tradition

The Prophet called vinegar a “blessed seasoning,” saying, “How good a condiment is vinegar and that it was the seasoning used by prophets before him.

In a famous Hadith, the Prophet recommended honey for stomach upsets, repeating the advice until the afflicted person was healed.

Both vinegar and honey are highly valued in the traditions of Prophet Muhammad(Nabi),who praised them for their health and nutritional benefits. Hadees, a popular fast- food chain, uses vinegar and honey as minor ingredients in select sauces, though not in the prophetic or medicinal way described in Hadith.
